Honda, a Japanese automaker, has hopped on the cryptocurrency bandwagon by accepting a number of cryptocurrencies as payment methods. It’s interesting to note that supporting tokens include Shiba Inu (SHIB), a well-known meme coin, and Ripple’s native token, XRP.

Honda Motor Co., a producer of cars, motorcycles, and power tools headquartered in Tokyo, has teamed with blockchain payment platform FCF Pay to enable customers to lease or buy firm goods using digital currencies rather than cash.

The top two digital currencies by market capitalization, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), as well as Ripple (XRP), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Binance Coin (BNB), Polkadot (DOT), and many others, are examples of accepted assets. The exotic meme coins Pepe Coin (PEPE), Floki Inu (FLOKI), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), Doge Killer (LEASH), and others are all part of Honda’s offering.

Such digital assets have become a hot topic in the cryptocurrency world in recent years, with Elon Musk’s favourite Dogecoin (DOGE) being the first to take off. Despite this, it has developed into one of the industry leaders, having a market worth of more than $8.6 billion right now.
