Recently, the X account of the Italian SHIB-themed fast-food chain’s creators, just tweeted a teaser of the company’s new website, with the complete version expected to appear shortly. The restaurant formed a collaboration with Shiba Inu nearly immediately after launching its first location in Naples, Italy, in 2021. To honor this collaboration, Welly’s chose the Shiba Inu dog as their official mascot. The SHIB community expects that once the fast-food business integrates with the recently announced Layer-2 solution Shibarium, Welly’s will begin actively engaging in the burning of SHIB tokens.
According to data from the Santiment on-chain analytic business, significant holders of and Ethereum, popularly known as whales, are playing the waiting game in expectation of higher values in the coming days. According to the statistics, major transactions (transactions costing more than $100,000) are at their lowest in 2023. “This is likely a sign of whales waiting, rather than disinterest,” Santiment concludes. If daily transactions continue at their current rate, Shibarium might reach this milestone in a matter of days. The Layer-2 network has grown rapidly since its reactivation in August. It has now achieved a total of 2,914,542 transactions, 1,246,683 wallet addresses, and 713,831 total blocks.
